The Hamilton Gardens Arts Festival is an iconic Waikato Summer event, taking place solely within the internationally acclaimed Hamilton Gardens, over 10 action packed days in February each year.

The festival comprises a range of community opportunities and paid performances across theatre, music, arts, comedy, dance and more. The 2017 season will be delivered from February 17th – 26th, 2017. 

As part of our continued growth we are seeking the services of a marketing coordinator to execute and deliver on our regional and national marketing strategy for the 2017 event.  This is an independent contractor role. For a fix term: November 2016 – March 2017, for the 2017 event. 

In this role you will be responsible for;

  • Delivering an effective marketing plan across a variety of visual, editorial, audible and online platforms.

  • Ensuring, alongside our Festival team, that our key messages, values and opportunities are presented in an effective and results driven fashion.

The successful candidate will be;

  • An efficient project manager with strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.

  • Able to build new relationships and leverage existing ones for the benefit of all parties.

  • Professional and results driven.

  • Able to think quickly and act effectively in an ever changing environment.

  • Proactive with a strong customer service focus.

  • Able to take ownership and pride in their contribution.
