Webbs is a well known, premier NZ Auction House, specialising in Fine and Decorative Arts, Jewellery, Fine and Rare Wines.

Our organisation is embarking on a new and exciting journey right now and to this end, we have a fantastic opportunity for a professional, savvy, experienced Art aficionado to join our team in the capacity of Art Department Manager.

Liaising with other key stakeholders in the business, you will have proven Leadership capabilities, excellent attention to detail and communication skills. 

In this role you will be required to be the face of our Art department maintaining and building relationships with clients, industry affiliates, consultants, collectors and external parties while overseeing and managing Auctions.

 

In order to be considered for this role:

  • You must have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in Art role at Leadership level managing small teams

  • Relevant Industry Tertiary qualifications

  • Solid experience across a range of Art specialities

  • Exceptional time-management skills (well-organised) 

  • Able to maintain efficiency in high-pressure situations

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Computer literacy a must

  • Previous experience working with Art collectors, exhibitors and Auction houses a distinct advantage!

 

You must have Legal right to work and live in NZ (you must hold a minimum of NZ Residency).
