We’re looking for Community Engagement Coordinator (20 hours per week) to help us create opportunities for the local community to engage with the performing arts.

We’re looking for someone with fantastic networking and relationship building skills – eventually you know all the key players in our community and use this knowledge to create amazing collaborative events and programmes.

You’ll planning skills will be second to none, with a clear approach to project management that ensures projects are delivered on time and that challenges are carefully managed. Your projects will be delivered on budget – and if you have a background in applying for funding or sponsorship this will be a real bonus.

Our ideal candidate will be positive, energetic, and able to work well unsupervised – and it goes without saying that you’ll be an expert at keeping many balls in the air at once.

You’ll be capable and confident in the use of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel and knowledge of applications like Dropbox, Basecamp and Todoist would be a bonus.

Overall, you’ll be confident using computer applications such as web browsers and email software and be willing and able to learn new skills.

Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
