SeniorsDANCE offers dance classess to keep seniors 65+ active and enjoying life with well established classed in Mt Albert, Remuera and New Lynn.

We are now looking for more teachers to deliver in other areas around Auckland, especially on the North Shore, and anywhere else in New Zealand.

You will be trained to teach under the brand of SeniorsDANCE using the approach, content, support and marketing already established, but you will be self-employed.

Classes are taught during the day and during school terms so SeniorsDANCE would be appropriate for studio dance teachers to add their their portfolio of classes for children and teenagers. 

You need to be a mature (40+) trained dancer with an understanding of anatomy, an empathy for older people and a desire to work with community seniors. You will become part of the growing Creative Ageing movement.

You need to be reliable so classes can be taught on a regular basis and with some basic knowledge of business and how to keep accounts.

Dancers of mixed ethnicities and traditions are warmly encouraged to apply so that classes can be delivered to older people of different ethnicities.
