He angitūtanga: The opportunity

Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development (ATEED) is the region’s economic growth agency. Our purpose is to support the growth of quality jobs across Auckland. We have a dedicated team to support Auckland’s thriving screen industry. Through Screen Auckland’s promotion of the city as a filming destination, we contribute to the sector’s growth and its continuing significant contribution to Auckland’s economy.

This is a rare opportunity to join our Screen Auckland team in a leadership role. The Screen Facilitation Manager ensures the smooth running of filming production operations within Auckland including permitting services. Leading a team of high functioning specialists, this very busy and varied role has relationships at its core. You’ll connect with landowners, the council family and of course, the screen industry, to understand requirements and ensure an effective and efficient process that will strengthen and support the industry and help Auckland to be promoted as a film friendly city.

He kōrero mōu: About you

Your background in the industry or with activity facilitation means you’re comfortable working at pace and juggling multiple things at once. You’re resilient and enjoy being at the coal face, constantly facing issues and problem solving. You can effectively build and maintain multiple stakeholder relationships and demonstrate a sound ability to interpret policy, regulation and legislation to enable filming productions to meet their compliance requirements. This might be a step up into a people leadership role however, you demonstrate the diplomatic style and strategic vison required to make this role a success.

Ngā āhuatanga kei a mātou: What we offer

Leading this team means you will be contributing to the prosperity of your city and building capability in an industry you love. You’ll be on the ground making it work and at the same time, you’ll be part of an organisation that values its people and embraces innovation.
