Applications are sought for the second Adam Art Gallery Internship. This internship will enable a recent graduate, postgraduate student or early-career art professional to work with the Gallery to develop knowledge of collecting, curatorial practice, and exhibition making through their involvement in the planning and delivery of aspects of the Gallery’s work programme.

The internship is a paid part-time, fixed-term position. The total duration of the internship is 400 hours. The successful applicant will establish their work plan with relevant Gallery staff. This will be based on a specific project identified as suiting their interests and knowledge. They will be based in the Adam Art Gallery office, working alongside the team, with opportunities to undertake self-directed research as well as a range of activities typical of the Gallery’s work flow.

Applicants with relevant qualifications and/or experience must apply in writing, using the relevant cover sheet and providing a CV and a letter outlining what they would bring to the role and their areas of interest and expertise. These must align with the vision and mission of the Gallery. Short-listed applicants will be invited to respond to a list of possible projects, identifying which project interests them and what specific skills and focus they would bring to achieving it.
