Are you looking for an exciting PR role in the arts?

We are looking for passionate, experienced communications professional with a love of music to join the team at Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra (APO), Auckland’s largest performing arts organisation.


The Communications Manager plays an important role in managing the profile of the APO and maximising opportunities to promote the activities of the orchestra. With over 70 concerts and events each year the APO is a busy, vibrant and rewarding place to work.


To be successful in the role the candidate would need to be a great communicator with a proactive attitude and proven track record in relationship building and media relations to drive awareness, engagement and understanding with key audiences in a diverse and exciting organisation. Experience of events, an interest and ability in social media and a passion for the performing arts is desirable.
