Mr Fahrenheit Publicity is looking for an experienced Publicist / Account Manager. This is a part-time role of approximately 25 hours a week (to be agreed).

The Publicist will work closely with Mr Fahrenheit’s Managing Director, from the office in Ponsonby, on a range of strategic campaigns for some of the country's most exciting arts and events clients, including Auckland Arts Festival, Auckland Theatre Company, Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra, Show Me Shorts Film Festival, Michael Hill International Violin Competition, Touch Compass Dance Company, Satellites Festival and the inaugural Tairāwhiti Arts Festival, among many other projects and some visiting international events.

You’ll have a love of the arts, at least four years PR or publicity experience, and be an energetic self-starter and story-teller who is flexible and social media savvy. Experience working in the arts will be regarded favourably, as will strong media contacts, fluency in te reo Māori, connections within Auckland's Asian communities and / or experience in cross-cultural communications.

Working hours are flexible and can be worked around the right candidate's other commitments.

Mr Fahrenheit Publicity is a boutique arts and events publicity agency. The team is a freelance community of vibrant publicists who live and breathe the arts and cherish the honour of working with some of New Zealand’s foremost arts organisations.
