Marketing & Audience Development Manager
The Performing Arts Network of New Zealand (PANNZ) run the PANNZ Arts Market and Tour-Makers National Touring Agency, among other projects. Due to an overseas move for their current Marketing & Audience Development Manager they're looking for a talented and innovative marketing professional to join their small, entrepreneurial team.
This role requires someone who is a visionary and passionate strategic thinker, with strong hands-on marketing skills to deliver omni-channel marketing campaigns and outreach initiatives in communities throughout New Zealand. Attitude is important, the ideal candidate will be a calm and positive person who sees no barriers and is comfortable supporting and, as needed, mentoring senior-level venue managers.
Strong project management and organisational skills are necessary to be successful in this role, in a fast moving environment, with tight deadlines and shifting goals. It is expected that the Marketing & Audience Development Manager would have strong digital marketing skills. Experience using digital tools such as PatronBase, GSuite, WordPress & Photoshop are an advantage, as well as experience working with ticketing suppliers.
The role encompasses a variety of activity for PANNZ, including the primary activity of Tour-Makers (show marketing and audience development), as well as PANNZ communications, evolving the marketing strategy and any PANNZ requirements related to marketing. In the first year of the role, the PANNZ Marketing and Audience Development Manager will monitor the activities of the PANNZ Arts Market Marketing Manager. The role of PANNZ Arts Market Marketing Manager is appointed through to close of PANNZ Arts Market 2020 and reports to the Executive Director until conclusion of contract in April 2020). It is envisioned the Marketing & Audience Development Manager will oversee and manage the marketing of the annual Arts Market from 2021, with marketing support, to the NZ Performing Arts industry.
