CIRCUIT Artist Film and Video Aotearoa New Zealand is seeking a Treasurer to join the Board of Trustees and oversee the management and reporting of our organization’s finances.

The Treasurer will be asked to;

• Oversee the financial affairs of the organisation and ensure they are legal, constitutional and within accepted accounting practice

• Ensure proper records are kept and that effective financial procedures are in place

• Monitor and report on the financial health of the organisation

• Oversee the production of necessary financial reports/returns, accounts and audits for the IRD and our sponsors Creative New Zealand

Skills 

• Knowledge of bookkeeping and financial management

• Knowledge of Xero

• Good financial analysis skills

• Ability to communicate clearly

• Enthusiasm, interpersonal skills, self-motivation and flexibility

Hours

The ideal candidate will be able to commit around 150 hours per annum to the position. An annual honorarium is offered to the Treasurer.
