Visualisaton Team Member
Interactionz is a social enterprise focused on building better lives and better communities. At our heart is our Mentoring Service for persons with disabilities, and we have two commercial streams of Visualisation Services and Training Services. Profits from our commercial activities are channelled directly into providing community services – so when we deliver services for our customers, their impact is felt on a much wider scale.
Interactionz has the vision of “people leading lives that have meaning to them, in communities where all can thrive”. Our practice is underpinned by the values of justice, being of service, courage, care and professionalism, and is aligned with the principles of the Enabling Good Lives approach.
An exciting opportunity is available in our Visualisation Team for graphic facilitators and illustrators. The focus of this role is to provide a range of visualisation services to commercial customers, including planning, recording, translation and customised facilitation. The scope of work covers from hand-drawn illustration to graphic design.
In this role you will:
Co-facilitate planning sessions using graphic facilitation tools or processes
Visually record conference/meeting sessions using graphic techniques in real time
Translate written or verbal communications into visual communications and infographics
You will have a natural artistic ability, and preferably possess a visual art-related tertiary qualification. Ideally your background will include experience of working as part of a team in bicultural and diverse cultural settings. You will need a full NZ driver licence and be able to work flexibly with both time and location. Interactionz is based in the Waikato but the role is open to remote workers based around NZ.
This position is not full time and will best suit a portfolio worker as a casual employee or contractor.
You must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand to be considered for this vacancy.
