The Christchurch Symphony Orchestra is the South Island’s leading music organisation and for over 60 years has played an important role in the cultural landscape of our city and community. Annually the CSO engages with over 98,000 people from all walks of life through our varied concert season, as the orchestra of choice for many touring artists and other arts organisations, civic events and through our extensive award-winning Community Engagament Programme.
We are looking for a motivated and experienced person with outstanding interpersonal skills to join the Marketing and Development team as our Sponsorship Executive.
This role will support the delivery of the CSO’s corporate partnership programme as directed by the Head of Marketing and Development.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strength in customer service, relationship building and management
- Experience of a Customer Relationship Management system
- Relevant degree or experience
We’re looking for a Self-starter who is positive, energetic and prepared to do that extra bit to get the job done. Knowledge or love of the arts, in particular orchestral music, would be an advantage. A willingness to be an active member of the CSO team is essential.
