Trusts and Foundations Manager
The Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra is New Zealand’s full-time professional metropolitan orchestra, serving the country’s largest and most vibrant city with a comprehensive programme of concerts, education and outreach activities. It is a dynamic and high-energy company and is one of New Zealand’s leading arts organisations.
Reporting tothe Director of Development, this is a key role in a tight knit development team which will manage and grow the trusts and foundations income for the APO.
Key responsibilities include:
- Producing compelling and successful funding applications and accountability reports
- Managing the annual grants calendar
- Identifying new funding opportunities
- Stewarding key funders
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years’ experience in trusts and grants fundraising in a charity environment and a relevant tertiary qualification. Exceptionaloral & written communication and relationship management skills and strong attention to detail are a must.
You will thrive in a tight knit motivated team environment, show good initiative and have a high EQ. We’re looking for a team player keen to share their love of orchestral music and inspire others to support the APO.
This role is a full time role, based in Auckland, with an intermediate salary and some work outside office hours.
