The Creative Capital Arts Trust is an organisation established in 2011 to fuel the arts sector in Wellington through arts festivals and events. The Trust produces the Wellington Fringe Festival and CubaDupa – both thriving and rapidly growing annual events at the heart of Wellington's vibrant creative scene. Between the Fringe and CubaDupa the CCAT engages with almost 2,000 artists every year and provides a highly accessible platform for audiences to experience innovative high quality performing arts and for artists to showcase and develop their talent.
The CCAT is seeking a hands-on operational Chief Executive to drive our strategy and lead the development of the organisation with a focus on ensuring its ongoing financial sustainability through a robust sponsorship and funding program.
The Chief Executive will work closely with a range of external stakeholders. They will lead the festival teams, and support the Festival Directors providing vision and direction, and ensuring the financial and institutional resources are in place and properly managed to deliver and continue to build the festivals.
The role requires strong operational leadership skills, with a significant focus on sponsorship & fundraising, relationship management, finance and budgeting, project management and an understanding of the arts and culture sector.
This is a full-time position with flexible hours, based in Wellington.
Compensation $85K plus potential for bonus subject to financial performance.
