- Exciting opportunity in the performing arts (music) sector
- Part-time (75%) contract, flexible hours
- Auckland based
Critically acclaimed as a “national treasure”, the award-winning NZTrio is this country’s leading piano trio, renowned for its eclectic repertoire, outstanding musicianship and warm kiwi stage presence. After eight dynamic years in the role our manager is moving on to a full-time role elsewhere in the arts sector. We are seeking a very special person to replace her.
Reporting to a Board of Trustees, and supported by an assistant manager, you will be responsible for managing all the operations and business of the NZTrio Foundation. Working closely with the trustees and the three members of the trio, you will use your superb organisational, communication and relationship management skills to implement the Trust’s strategic goals and business plans in an efficient and sustainable way.
You will likely have previous experience of working in the performing arts sector, in an events management or arts administration role, as well as an understanding of the funding landscape and strategic/budgetary planning and reporting. Familiarity with the logistics of organising concerts and touring (nationally and internationally) would be a considerable advantage.
The position would suit someone who is happy to work from home (although an office may become available in future years) and has the flexibility to be available for evening work and occasional touring, both within Aotearoa New Zealand and overseas.
