Funding and grant applications


  • Tell a compelling story re our theatre company and programmes stories as part of the funding application (where able) and complete each funding application with the correct information and submit within the required timeframe


  • Accurately follow the requirements of each potential funder, liaising with staff, suppliers and other stakeholders as required


  • Ensure the Trustees have any resolutions to apply for funding (if required by the funder) for each Trust meeting


  • Co-ordinate the data entry and reporting process of all funding applications to understand the results and to improve on performance


  • Ensure contact details are kept up to date and key contacts are communicated to with relevant Tim Bray Theatre Company information and stories as appropriate


  • Work with the Bookkeeper to ensure all accountability requirements for successful applications are completed by the due date and to the required standard


  • Maintain the Funding Calendar and actively seek to apply for all eligible grants


  • Be proactive in seeking new Trusts and Foundations both nationally and international with appropriate funding criteria


  • Source quotes and additional information as required for applications


Marketing Administration to include:

  • Undertaking daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the marketing activities


  • Supporting marketing in organising various projects


  • Data input and analysing audience attendance and surveys


  • Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.)


  • Assist in the organising of promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns and attend them to facilitate their success


  • Compose and post online content on the company’s social media accounts


  • Assist with creation of Digital Marketing content using Adobe Digital pro and Photoshop.


Administration assistance

  • Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and co-ordination of the office


  • Administration assistant to the office Management team


  • Proven experience as a marketing assistant
  • Proven and successful experience in making funding applications and reports
  • Good understanding of office management and marketing principles
  • Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
  • Well-organised with a customer-oriented approach
  • Good knowledge of market research techniques and databases
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, MailChimp, Survey Monkey and Wordpress, as well as online tools (CRM tools, Online analytics, Google Adwords etc.)
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Not for profit experience ideal but not essential
  • Experience with Adobe Creative suite
  • Able to work in an open office environment
  • Have the ability to work with and around children
