The Events, Building and Retail Coordinator is an exciting new role which will help us to manage our events, building and new retail space. This is a dynamic role and will involve arts and event management, as well as liaison with our building users, tenants and service providers. The person in this role will also oversee our newly developed arts retail space. Working with the Manager, the Events, Building and Retail Coordinator will:

  • Coordinate and Administer Arts and other Events: which include an annual program of gallery exhibitions and performances, workshops and seminars, public events and our Makers Markets

  • Coordinate staffing for events and other activities

  • Participate in general day-to-day administrative tasks

  • Coordinate the booked spaces in Square Edge Arts Centre 

  • Liaise with building users and tenants and manage a monthly tenants meeting

  • Coordinate service providers in Square Edge Arts Centre

  • Coordinate our new arts retail space

  • Participate in organisational and Strategic Planning, with a focus on events and retail

As time permits the Events, Building and Retail Coordinator will participate in general organisational activities including funding application and reporting, attending events and front of house tasks.
