Mairangi Arts Centre (MAC) is a vibrant, community based visual arts education facility and exhibition venue in Mairangi Bay on the North Shore. MAC receives over 30,000 visitors annually and is one of Auckland’s largest community art centres. The Gallery Store is situated within the reception area of our main exhibition space. Our mission is to provide a platform for MAC members, and local and regional New Zealand artists to sell their handmade small scale artworks. Artists must be New Zealand residents and over 18 years old. Consignment artworks are displayed in secured glass display cases that are opened and made accessible at viewers’ requests.

The initial term of consignment for the Gallery Store is to be three months. Thereafter, consignment shall continue until the artist requests the return of any or all the artworks, or Mairangi Arts Centre requests that the artist take back any or all of the artworks with which request the artist shall comply within 30 days. The Gallery Store consignment fee for each three month period is $30 non- members / $25 MAC members for a half shelf or $60 non-members / $50 MAC Members for a full shelf, and a 15% + GST commission for any sold works.
