Experience Wellington is a registered charity established by Wellington City Council as a Council Controlled Organisation (CCO) to manage and develop its cultural and arts visitor experiences. We run six extraordinary visitor experiences: Capital E, Space Place at Carter Observatory, City Gallery Wellington, Nairn Street Cottage, Wellington Museum and the Cable Car Museum. We also support the operation of the New Zealand Cricket Museum and Hannah Playhouse.

Capital E is New Zealand's leading centre of creativity for young people. We ignite the spark in children and young people: fostering confident, creative, capable citizens who can be architects of their own future.

We are looking for an Associate Producer, to project manage all aspects of development, production and presentation of our live performance programme including venues, resources, technical and production contractors for our National Theatre for Children and our biennial National Arts Festival.

To be successful in this position you'll have strong production, stage, financial, time and resource management skills.

In addition, you will have strong industry connections; be a positive relationship builder and sector advocate and a team player who has excellent organisational skills and an eye for detail. This is a fast-paced busy role so you'll need to approach your work with energy, creativity, and resourcefulness. Under the guidance of the Creative Producer, Live, you will oversee the organisation, logistics and technical aspects of our excellent live performances for tamariki and their whanau, in theatres and venues across Wellington and Aotearoa.

Bring your passion for theatre, and for young audiences, and join our collaborative, dedicated team - the Associate Producer, Live will help us to do more of what we love!

This is an exciting opportunity to join an organisation that delivers sector-leading, creative and innovative productions for children & young people.
