The word is out, Auckland Fringe is searching for a new Director to lead the 2020 Auckland Fringe! 

The Fringe is a feistily independent open-access annual art festival, and we are seeking a dynamic and committed candidate to step into the leadership role.  The Director is the front face of Auckland Fringe and responsible for the design, management, delivery & promotion of the 2020 Auckland Fringe.  The role includes sourcing funding, developing the creative vision, programming, team creation and leadership, business management, reporting, marketing and media management. 

We are looking for someone with a minimum five years project management/ producer/ event management experience within the arts.  The ideal candidate will be a great communicator, passionate about the development of the independent arts sector and committed to a diverse and inclusive culture. 

This role is full time until April and part-time during the rest of the year as negotiated.  Other duties as required.  Due to the nature of the event, a flexible approach to working hours during the festival period is essential. 

The Auckland Fringe Trust Board is committed to the development of emerging leaders and are keen to hear from applicants who are serious about developing their leadership skills and experience in the professional arts industry.
