The School of Music and Creative Media Production - Te Rewa o Puanga at Massey University is seeking a full-time technician with experience across media and/or music equipment, equipment rental systems, events and equipment operation for the purposes of marketing and instructional content

You'll be proactive, detail orientated, highly organised and able to prioritise work to meet deadlines. Your excellent communication and coordination skills will be paired with an ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a range of people internally and externally including managers, technical staff, academic staff, administrators, industry and students.

You'll be competent at running an equipment store and the daily logistics of resource movements, software based resource booking systems, coupled with a personable, professional and enthusiastic manner to users of the school facilities. You will have experience at basic equipment sales and EFTPOS operation, as well as coordination skills to oversee a team of student technicians who assist in your daily roles.

You will also be willing and have a broad experience across media and music technologies to be able to turn your hand to general technical matters and cover for other technicians, as well as assisting at events. You will in addition have experience at quickly grabbing a camera and capturing the very cool activities that happen on campus on a daily basis, and editing for the purposes of marketing and social media.
