Are you looking for an exciting PR role in the arts?

We are looking for passionate, experienced communications professional with a love of the arts to join the marketing team at Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra (APO).

The Communications Manager plays an important role in managing the profile of the APO and maximising opportunities to showcase the activities and people of the orchestra. With over 70 concerts and events each year the APO is a busy, vibrant and rewarding place to work.

To be successful in the role the candidate would need to be a great communicator with a proactive attitude and proven track record in media relations. The purpose of the role is to drive awareness and engagement with key audiences. Experience of events, an interest and ability in social media and a passion for the performing arts is desirable.

2020 is an exciting year for the APO as we celebrate 40 years playing for Auckland. This role offers a fantastic chance to join Auckland’s largest performing arts organisation and use your expertise and ideas to showcase and promote the APO, its events, activities and people to the whole community.
