The New Plymouth District Council is looking for a dynamic and creative marketing and communications adviser on a permanent and fulltime basis. The position primarily supports Marketing and Communications for the Govett Brewster Art Gallery.

You'll need to be a proactive ideas person for this role, and enjoy creating and implementing strong communications plans and marketing campaigns.

This is a diverse portfolio, so to be successful in the role, you will thrive in working in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines. An eye for detail is key. You will love interacting positively and pro-actively with people, forming effective working relationships with both internal and external partners is a must.

You'll be creating content for a range of mediums, so writing and understanding various audiences will be second nature to you. You will also know a PR opportunity when you see it.

We're looking for someone who has a passion for art and ideally you will have a tertiary qualification in a relevant marketing communications discipline and extensive relevant experience.
