The School of Creative Industries uses a combination of hands-on, real-world learning and theory that will enable our learners to prepare for a career in a range of different creative areas, including acting, art and design, contemporary dance, graphic design and animation, screen arts, photography, and visual arts.
The position
We are looking for a Production and Facilities Manager to join our School of Creative Industries team!
As our Production and Facilities Manager, you will oversee and manage our productions, events, and activities for the performing and screen arts, and design and contemporary arts programmes. You will work with academic and support teams to ensure that you manage public-facing and in-house productions and events, while being across all related budgets, resources, facilities in alignment with upholding the Unitec Health and Safety guidelines.
The Production and Facilities Manager will support the leadership team with the management and delivery of production, event, facilities, and specific tasks and projects where necessary. You will effectively lead a team of allied and technical staff while supporting Creative Industries teaching teams to provide high-quality educational outcomes for the School of Creative Industries learners and our key partners.
