At the heart of WOW is a renowned international wearable art show and design competition that continues to innovate, commercially and creatively and showcases New Zealand to the world.  WOW has flourished over the last three decades resulting in New Zealand’s single largest production staged in Wellington, attracting entries from over 40 countries.  The show and competition make this a truly amazing NZ based company.

This is a unique and challenging opportunity for a talented senior marketing individual that is looking to be part of the incredible WOW journey.
As Head of Marketing, you will live and breathe everything WOW.  You will lead the development and implementation of the brand, marketing, content, communications, sponsorship, and audience development strategy across the key products of Show, Competition, Exhibitions and Merchandise. 
You will be the guardian of the utterly unique WOW brand and with your passion and energy you will inspire external and internal audiences to love WOW as much as you do.  Your continual innovation and entrepreneurial bent and desire to collaborate will be the catalyst for WOWs revenue growth and commercial success.

To be the right individual for this opportunity it is an absolute that you are an experienced senior marketer who is a fast learner and sharp thinker, has the ability to understand trends and be able to see opportunities, future focused and open to disruption with a thirst for success.  You will be adept at developing and executing traditional, experimental, and sophisticated digital marketing strategies.  

You will also be a contemporary and empathetic leader, with the qualities of being able to build and share a vision, collaborate for the greater good with partners and the WOW team, whilst demonstrating commercial and entrepreneurial acumen.  Having an analytical mind that is able to turn customer data into creative marketing strategies is also key with the end goal of maximising revenue.

Ideally this role will be based in the extraordinary Nelson Tasman region but there may be flexibility in location for the right individual.
