Proposals for the Wharepuke/Dalton Trust Atist Residency 2021 are now open.
Valued at $5,500.00, the 2021 residency is open for proposals from NZ & Australia* based artists to create a permanent work on site for the Wharepuke Sculpture Park in Kerikeri, Northland.
Proposed works must be suitable for outdoor permanent display and can be 3D/2D, sculpture, installation, sound, video etc.
- 4-week residency - between June 21st and September 30th, 2021 - artist and Wharepuke to negotiate exact dates
- Artist’s fee $3,500.00 NZ
- Accommodation (valued at $2000.00) – self-contained one bed cottage in 2 hectares of award-winning subtropical Garden of National Significance – partners/family welcome

The Sculpture Park is set within Wharepuke Subtropical Garden of National Significance, 1km from the Kerikeri town centre and 5 min walk from the Stone Store, Kemp House and the Kororipo Pa. Also on site are the Wharepuke Print Studio, Art at Wharepuke Gallery and Māha restaurant.
