Playmarket is seeking a Kaihāpai Tuhinga Māori. The purpose of the position is to provide script advice and assessment services principally to Māori playwrights and theatremakers, although they will also be working with non-Māori playwrights. The role includes administration to ensure Playmarket script development projects operate effectively. The position works in close association with the Script Advisor, Script Coordinator, Publication & Event Coordinator and the Licensing and Bookshop Administrator.
The person in this position will be part of a dynamic team that is based in Wellington and Auckland, although the successful candidate will be able to work from wherever they are domiciled.
The position is part time for one year and commences in July 2021.
