This role is for 38 hours per week
The timeframe for these work sessions will be four weekdays 10 - 6pm and one weekend day 10-4pm. The timing of working hours will be set out in a roster.
The employee must be available to work more than the agreed number of guaranteed hours from time to time. The employee must be available to work during the hours of 6pm - 7:30pm on Tuesdays (or any other nominated evening) for exhibition opening nights. And from 4-6pm on Sundays for de-install works when required.

Key Relationships: Clients / Sanderson Team / Artists / Media / Service providers
Key duties include general administration, sales and client relationships, social media and newsletters, assisting with artist management and general gallery tasks outlined int he full position description which is available on request.
Sanderson Contemporary is a small team, The Assistant Manager Role is a major role in running the gallery. As we are a small team communication is key, as is attention to detail and a can-do attitude!
We have high sales targets and a drive to be a very successful gallery for continual sales, doing the best by both our artists and clients. Sales are the most important part of this role. A high level of communication and customer service is paramount. Every visitor to the gallery is important – and every visitor needs to be treated like an opportunity to make a sale now – or in the future – building the Sanderson network and community.
