Auckland Theatre Company has received funding to organise, sort, and arrange our records in preparation for deposit with a public archive. The successful candidate will be preparing records of age for deposit now and setting ATC up to be able to appropriately manage its records to ensure deposits in the future.
A significant project for ATC, we are seeking someone appropriately qualified and experienced who can develop records and archives policy and procedure, develop records management classification indexes and schedules, has experience sorting and depositing cultural archives, and who isn’t afraid of searching through storage areas, cupboards, bottom draws, and computer drives to create a comprehensive archival record. Experience with digitisation is advantageous. Essentially, you need to be someone who is keen to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in as well as lead the strategic thinking.
The job has been scoped as 20hrs per week for 12-months, however, we are open to amending the hours/week and project timeframes for the ideal candidate. This is the perfect job for someone looking for great work life balance and an interesting place to work.
ATC welcomes applications from all qualified people legally allowed to work in New Zealand. The successful candidate will already be Auckland-based.
