Sanderson Contemporary is a small team of 4 staff members. The Gallery Assistant Role is a major support role in running the gallery. As we are a small team communication is key – and all staff need to pitch in and do tasks such as cleaning up the stockroom and gallery at times.

We have high sales targets and a drive to be a very successful gallery for continual sales, doing the best by both our artists and clients. Sales are the most important part of this role – as with all roles at the gallery. If a client enters the gallery that opportunity is always the priority. A high level of communication and customer service is paramount. Every visitor to the gallery is just as important – and every visitor needs to be treated like an opportunity to make a sale now – or in the future – building the galleries network and community.
