Barbarian Productions is a professional theatre company with a unique focus on community engagement, using the theatricality of the live act to further social conversations. We are based at the Vogelmorn Bowling Club, in Pōneke, Aotearoa.

About the role
The successful candidate will provide strategic and operational leadership for the organisation, ensuring on-going financial stability and creating an environment in which the company’s core values and artistic remit can flourish.
The role will oversee the contracting and management of all staff and contractors of Barbarian Productions and will be responsible for the planning and management of all logistical and operational aspects of Barbarian Productions, including long term planning and strategy in close connection with the Company Directors.
Employment is 15 hours a week - please note this role will work closely alongside our in-house Creative Producer. Barbarian are looking for someone who is good at ‘big picture’ thinking, who enjoys working collaboratively in a small team, and who is comfortable holding responsibility. Ideally, they will have experience working with public and private funders and managing people and finances.
