Mō tēnei tūranga mahi - About the role

This role is tasked with writing, editing, and disseminating positive stories, predominantly in the digital environment to enhance Ara's reputation and interact in a proactive and timely manner with stakeholders and enquiries received via social media. The role involves proactively seeking out positive stories, interactions and examples of success and presenting them in an accessible and engaging way as well as keeping information up to date, forward focused and informative for all Ara stakeholders. (e.g., potential, and current students, their families, staff, employers, and other Ara partners). Being ahead of the game in terms of changing platforms and what is working in engaging the target audience and what is needed for each group to maintain positive engagement.

  • Demonstrate verbal communication skills
  • Experience in social media monitoring, writing positive content and responding to comments regarding Ara

  • Demonstrate project management and multi-tasking skills
  • Demonstrate expertise in customer service
  • This person will value the contributions of others
  • Ability to prioritise workload
