IDEAschool at EIT seeks to appoint a Lecturer in Design to join a team of experienced and creative educators who are committed to excellence in teaching and learning and student success.

You will be encouraged and supported as you enhance teaching, learning, research, and creative activities across the design disciplines and continue with related research activities.

Essential requirements include the following:

  • A Master's degree in design (preferably a doctorate), particularly in the fields of digital design/animation or graphic design
  • Extensive experience in teaching (both online and face-to-face) graphic design, digital design, animation, and/or digital media to degree level
  • Thorough knowledge and experience in using design technology, centering around Adobe Suite with industry knowledge

The successful candidate may also be required to teach online courses to China-based EIT students, and when allowed, to teach EIT students face-to-face in China for short periods of time.

As a result you should have an appreciation of Chinese languages and culture.

We will be interested in viewing your portfolio of design work and discussing research outputs relevant to the design industry.
