The DBTL gallery is a community gallery run by volunteers.  The Gallery Administrator role is a contracted paid position up to 7 hours per week negotiable. The appointee would need to be flexible within the 7 day period and much of the work would be off site. The DBTL gallery is a non-profit organisation providing opportunities for local artists, both emerging and established.

The Down by the Liffey Gallery is looking to appoint someone with the following attributes and experience.

  • An appreciation of visual and/or applied arts.
  • Demonstrated experience in an administrative role, with the ability to network and collaborate with a wide range of artists and community organisations.
  • A willingness to work collaboratively with committee, artists and volunteers.

While not essential, it will also be a plus if you:

  • Have existing networks in the Canterbury and Selwyn arts communities.
  • Bring experience in curation of exhibitions and hanging of art works.
