Ko Tā mātou mahi – Our role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Adviser to lead and contribute to policy analysis, performance design and reporting, research and advice as part of our Strategy and Engagement team, driving our ambitious programme of work.
Working collaboratively across the organisation and the sector, the Senior Adviser Policy and Performance ensures that policy, research and advice is relevant to Creative New Zealand requirements, has depth and is presented succinctly and efficiently. The role also contributes to the production of organisational performance planning and reporting, including Ministerials, official information requests, Select Committee reports, and leads or contributes to the monitoring and evaluation of programmes and initiatives as required.
Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu – What you will bring
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High levels of critical thinking
- Well developed research and report writing experience
- Flexibility, proactivity and motivation to make a difference for our sector
- Experience working in a Māori context, and/or an understanding of tikanga and kaupapa Māori
- An understanding of the value of Pacific arts in Aotearoa
