The Refinery ArtSpace is committed to stimulating and strengthening the artistic and cultural life of Whakatū, supporting a diverse programme of engaging community-driven and/or contemporary exhibitions, projects and events.

The Refinery ArtSpace welcomes proposals from individuals and groups from all creative fields locally and nationally including: 

  • Community arts and cultural groups;

  • Experienced, new and emerging practitioners, including students and recent graduates;

  • Proposals from other national galleries with a similar focus;

  • Curatorial practitioners and curatorial programmes, locally and nationally;

 

NOTE: All exhibitions must be a minimum of four weeks duration.

The closing date for proposals is 25 March 2022.
Completed proposals may be:

 

  • emailed to refineryartspace@gmail.com
  • mailed to Refinery ArtSpace, PO Box 566, Nelson 7040
  • dropped off to the Refinery ArtSpace,  114 Hardy St, Nelson.

All applicants will be advised on the outcome by 25th April 2022. Successful submissions will be advised of their exhibition dates by 23rd May 2022.
