Hire Assistant for Stage/Film Lighting Business

The role primarily consists of PATS testing and maintaining our hire equipment, and prepping orders in-house at our Avondale location for our Film / TV / events customers with the occasional requirement to work offsite. 

The successful applicant will:

• Have experience or interest in lighting for the theatre/and or film industry and interested in developing their technical skills

• Have the ability to communicate well with others and be an effective team member 

• Be confident interacting with customers both face to face and over the phone

• Be computer literate

• Have a full NZ drivers’ licence and be able to drive manual

• Be physically fit and enjoy working with their hands

Camera, grip, rigging, and/or mechanical knowledge would be helpful. Warehouse experience and a heavy vehicle licence would also be advantageous.
