Are you a good listener? Are you experienced in your field? Arts Access Aotearoa is looking for mentors for our Creative Spaces Leadership Programme.

Creative spaces are places and organisations such as community-based art studios where people with limited access can make art. You can find out more about creative spaces by visiting our website www.artsaccess.org.nz.

We are looking for people who are good at listening actively, building trust, determining goals, learning quickly and managing relationships.

You will be familiar with the not-for-profit sector, experienced in your field and willing to volunteer your time as a mentor. Familiarity with the community-based art sector and the disability sector is desirable but not essential.

You must be available to attend a one-hour mentoring meeting with your mentee at least once a month from March – December 2013, and a training and orientation day at the beginning of the programme.

Training and orientation for mentors will be provided by Arts Access Aotearoa and delivered by New Zealand Coaching and Mentoring Centre  www.coachingmentoring.co.nz.
