Broadcast & Film New Zealand is offering a 3 weeks camera operator internship to a student who has completed the Camera Operator Course. You will be tutored in :

CAMERA CONTROLS: LENS,APETURE, FOCAL LENS, FOCUS, COLOR TEMPERATURE,ND FILTERS,WHITE BALANCE, MEDIA, AUDIO 2. INTRODUCTION TO HD CAMERAS AND RED EPIC CAMERA 3. CAMERA AND TRIPOD SET UP 4. SHOT STRUCTURE: COMPOSITION AND FRAMING, CAMERA MOVEMENT AND INVISIBLE TECHNIQUE 5. STRUCTURING A SEQUECNCE AND STORY STRUCTURE 6. VIDEO JOURNALISM: - NEWS COVERAGE - INTERVIEWS TECHNIQUES - INTERVIEW WITH LIGHTS - MULTI CAMERA SHOOT AND WORKING AS A TEAM 7. FILMING TECHNIQUES FOR REALITY TV, DOCUMENTARY 8. SHOOTING FOR EDITING 9. EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE AND MONITORING SAFETY CONDITIONS.

 All the students will have access to our extended online digital library and a comprehensive list of the books will be provided. All the students will be able to learn on our HD cameras and on our Red Epic. RED EPIC it is a camera used by Peter Jackson on ‘The Hobbit’.
