We invite Emerging Artists to be a part of "Remake: Emerging Artists" - an exhibition dedicated to them (9 February - 3 March 2013). Invigorating the Wellington art scene and spinning the artistic practise of 'transformation' - one so important to contemporary practise in this country - Emerging Artists will be an important part of the Academy's First Quarter Season. Works by individual artists and collaborative works created by more than one artist are welcome and works in all media will be accepted.

"Remake: Emerging Artists" is an exhibition dedicated to the concept of artistic transformation, making one thing into another through personal practise and collaboration. The best non-guest work in "Remake" will receive the inaugural Tui McLauchlan Emerging Artist Award - a Cash Prize of $2,000. If this is a collaborative work, the award will be split evenly between awarded artists.

Digital submissions are welcome between the 18th and 21st of January 2013. Find out more at http://www.nzafa.com/web/remake-emerging-artists.
