Community Manager at The Kitchen

The Kitchen is about creating an inspiring, well-resourced work environment for people who change things for good. We have a special focus on social entrepreneurs, community organisations, and all those working for ‘more than profit’.
Innovate Change is a social innovation practice that identifies and implements new and creative ways to respond to social challenges. Innovate Change works on the design, review, planning and delivery of health, community and social programmes. A key project for Innovate Change is managing The Kitchen, and we are looking for an awesome Community Manager to lead this work.
The Kitchen Community Manager holds functional responsibility for the day-to-day operations of The Kitchen. The new Community Manager will be ready to help with anything from early-stage growth, training, funding, incubation and events, to support, mentoring, and collaboration. They will be up for all of this as well as making sure The Kitchen is a slick, well run facility. They will be a can-do person who is prepared to muck in when needed. They are passionate about curating a community and a space than enables awesome social change.
The manager will also work on Innovate Change projects. The position is full time and will be split approximately 80% of time on managing The Kitchen and 20% of time on Innovate Change project work.
