Roger Horrocks

Professor Emeritus Roger Horrocks MNZM is a writer, film-maker and former assistant to Len Lye. Horrocks pioneered academic study of film and television in New Zealand, and taught many influential filmmakers. He was a co-editor of the influential literary magazines AND (1984–85) and Splash (1984–86), and a Contributing Editor to Parallax (1982-3), and he has also written criticism and collections of poetry.
