Opening at Easter weekend in Tāhuna Queenstown, we are very privileged to present solo exhibitions by two of Aotearoa’s most celebrated art icons – Dick Frizzell and Toss Woollaston.

We are thrilled to welcome Dick Frizzell to Queenstown and hope you will join us for the OPENING PREVIEW and his ARTIST TALK, Saturday 4th April from 5pm – all welcome.

Bringing global pop culture and the history of art into direct dialogue with Māori visual traditions, Dick Frizzell presents his extended Tiki series exploring cultural exchange, appropriation, shifting meanings and the multiple layers of iconic imagery.

Late in his career, Toss Woollaston spent two years living and working in Queenstown. Absorbed in the mauri of the land, he captures the passage of time and changing play of light with vibrant colour and dynamic lines.
