Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Raukatauri Music Therapy Trust
Mō mātou | About Us
The Raukatauri Music Therapy Trust has been Aotearoa’s principal provider of charitable music therapy services since our founding in 2004. We are Aotearoa’s largest employer of Registered Music Therapists and provide this life-changing service to a wide variety of people with disabilities or mental health conditions. Our mission is to offer a quality, accessible music therapy service to all people, whatever their needs. Our vision is to enrich and develop lives through music.
Raukatauri provides music therapy to over 800 people each week of all ages, backgrounds, needs, and experiences. We operate in three regions - Auckland, Hastings, and Whangārei – with Auckland being our original location and main operating base. Sessions take place onsite at our three regional centres as well as across these communities either via outreach - in partnership with over 70 different organisations such as schools, hospitals, and aged care facilities – or in satellites, ensuring those who live less centrally also have the opportunity to access the support they need.
Every single session is subsidised thanks to our charitable model, so whānau can access this life-changing therapy that’s specially adapted for each individual’s needs.
