Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this role

We are looking for a part-time Marketing Co-ordinator to support the Marketing & Development Manager with day-to-day marketing tasks for Massive Theatre Company. This may include social media management, content creation, and general marketing admin tasks. Working in a small team in the arts industry is always fun but can also be fast-paced when working to tight deadlines.

Job Tasks:

  • Support management of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube)
  • Capture content for social media
  • Support the creation of digital content and print marketing
  • Prepare and deliver marketing collateral for shows and workshops
  • Reporting: Responsible for recording analytics provided by Marketing Manager on a monthly basis
  • Admin: Manage filing and organisation of company assets (such as photography and resources)
  • Comms: Liaise with our company members, performers and external organisations
  • Be part of creative discussions around marketing of theatre productions and branding

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience managing social media business accounts
  • Experience with YouTube, EDM platform (Mailchimp or similar), and websites
  • Experience with Adobe Suite (Photoshop and InDesign in particular) preferable
  • Social media content creation skills (reel editing on CapCut/Instagram Edits/iMovie or similar)
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience working in the arts is preferable
  • Highly-organised with the ability to work to a deadline
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Contract Details:

This is a two-day per week, 27 week contract (March - September) at the rate of $32 p/h.
