Creative Matters is now recruiting experienced, heart-led art educators or teachers who believe in the power of creativity to transform children’s lives.
If you’re passionate about bringing meaningful, hands-on art experiences to kids aged 5–13 and able to work sole-charge confidently, we want to hear from you — whether you're available now or would like to join our relief team. We’re always looking to connect with amazing humans.
Opportunities Available:
Term 1 After School Programme (and beyond) - we offer sessions term to term
Mid Feb - Early April | 3–5pm
- Various schools & locations available
- We are particularly interested to hear from Educators who live close-to or are willing to travel to Huapai and Waimauku as we have limited educators in this area and have just added extra classes
Currently we have other opportunities in Central and Central-east Auckland
April (and beyond) School Holiday Art Workshops
Kumeu, Kohimarama, Mt Eden/Epsom, Takapuna, Herne Bay, Ponsonby, Ellerslie
8.30am - 3.30pm
Opportunities to continue beyond these terms and pick up more classes in the future when shifts become available.
All plans and materials provided
$40/hour
Who We’re Looking For:
You’ll thrive with us if you’re:
Reliable and confident managing up to 13 children
Energetic, kind, and great at connecting with kids and families
Skilled in visual arts with an appreciation for the creative process
A strong communicator and passionate about child-led learning
